A chaburah for yeshiva bochurim · Brooklyn, NY

Gathering the pages of the yeshiva years.

Kovetz Al Yad helps bochurim learn steadily, review what they learn, and be tested on it — so the Torah of these years is not left behind, but gathered and carried for life.

Our mission

Learning that stays learned.

Kovetz Al Yad is a chaburah for talmidei yeshivos. A bochur’s years in yeshiva are full of learning — masechtos, perakim and sedarim, each one hard-won. Too often, those pages slip away once the zman moves on.

We exist so that they don’t. Each bochur takes on clear limudim, reviews them, and is tested on them by people who care how he is doing. What he learns is recorded and built upon, one piece at a time, until the learning of his yeshiva years becomes a lasting, organized whole that is truly his.

Around that learning we build a chaburah: Shabbosim together, gatherings, recognition for real effort, and a close partnership with parents.

What we do

The life of the chaburah.

Everything we do serves one aim: steady learning that is reviewed, tested and kept — in a community that makes a bochur want to keep going.

  • סדר הלימוד

    Structured limudim

Each bochur takes on clearly defined learning — masechtos and perakim — with room to add more beyond the core seder as he grows.

  • חזרה ומבחן

    Review & bechinos

Learning is reviewed and then tested by dedicated testers, so a completed limud means something a bochur truly knows.

  • שבת קודש

    Shabbos together

Shabbos programming keeps the chaburah connected week after week — learning, davening and simcha in good company.

  • פרסים והוקרה

    Recognition & prizes

Milestones are celebrated. Prizes and recognition reward consistency and real effort, not only the finish line.

  • כינוסים

    Gatherings & events

Asifos and special events bring bochurim together to celebrate their learning and strengthen the chaburah.

  • שותפות ההורים

    Partnership with parents

Parents are kept informed through letters and updates, so home and chaburah encourage the same growth.
